Big news for CA Foundation aspirants! | Result Date Announced

ICAI - The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has announced the date of the results at their official website. As we know the term "Chartered Accountants" is well known widely & protected by law. There are numbers of countries including United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and India has their own institute for the Charted Accountants. 

This is a very big news for the CA Foundation students that the results is likely to be announced on 07-Feb-2024. This results for examination was held in Dec-Jan 2024. We have researched about the performance of students who took the CA Foundation exam in December 2023.

1. Number of students who appeared:

A total of 53,459 candidates took the exam. This is likely only one section of the exam, as there are usually two sessions (December and June) each year. 

2. Number of students who passed:

Only 5,204 students managed to pass, which means the majority of students did not meet the criteria to move forward.

3. Pass percentage:

This translates to an overall pass percentage of 9.73%. This is quite low, indicating a highly competitive exam and the challenging nature of the material.

Putting it simply:

Imagine a class of 53,459 students taking a very difficult test. Only 5,204 students (less than 10%) scored high enough to pass and move on to the next stage. This highlights the difficulties nature of the CA Foundation exam.
