Tragedy Strikes Harda: Firecracker Factory Blast Claims Lives, Injures Dozens

A massive fire broke out at a firecracker factory in Harda, Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, killing at least 11 people and injuring more than 60. The massive fire caused multiple explosions, causing panic in the area and panic among residents.



According to reports, the fire broke out in the morning and within no time the factory was engulfed in flames. The stored fireworks ignited the inferno, causing several secondary explosions that shook the surrounding area. Horrific video circulating online shows thick plumes of smoke billowing from the factory, and terrified residents running for cover as explosions echo through the air.


Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reacted immediately to the tragedy and deployed more than 50 ambulances at the spot. Minister Ranvendra Pratap Singh, Director General Home, and around 400 police personnel also arrived to coordinate rescue efforts.

The Chief Minister announced the compensation amount. Rs 4 lakh to the family of each deceased victim. Additionally, all injured persons will receive free medical treatment.


The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Officials are working tirelessly to extinguish the fire and ensure the safety of nearby residents. This incident is a reminder of the potential dangers associated with firecracker production and the importance of following safety rules.

President Murmu Expresses Condolences


Indian President Droupadi Murmu expressed her deepest condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.


PM Narendra Modi Announcement

Prime Minister Modi Has Announced that ₹2 lakh from PMNRF (Prime Minister's National Relief Fund) would be given to those families who have lost their loved ones. PM is showing their Condolences and &  announced that ₹50000/- Would be given to the injured.


Rescue Operation Is Going On

State helicopters are airlifting injured people to hospitals in Hoshangabad and Bhopal. To ensure their speedy transportation, a special green corridor has been established on the Harda-Bhopal route. Minister Uday Pratap Singh personally visited the crash site and provided the latest updates on the ongoing rescue efforts.



Here are the changes made:

"Government helicopters" were replaced with "State helicopters" for a more specific and natural flow.

"Airlifting" was used instead of "transportation" for a more vivid and impressive image.

Clarified the destination hospitals – Hoshangabad and Bhopal.

Purpose of Green Corridor explained – rapid transportation.

Changed "providing updates on evacuations" to "providing updates on ongoing rescue efforts" for better context.

Added "in person" before "visiting the accident site" for a human touch.


Taking immediate action, Chief Minister Shri Yadav gave priority to helping the injured in Harda. Ambulances arrived from nearby areas, and helicopters were requested from the military for rapid transportation. 14 doctors were immediately sent to Harda, along with 70 ambulances were mobilized from different places. This rapid response ensures that the injured receive the prompt medical attention they need.
